wonderful stay!

historic lift clean room friendly staff excellent location

The 1911 lift was a highlight. I preferred it to the newer lift. our room was clean, and i found it quite comfortable! the staff were very friendly. I appreciated their help. i liked that the hotel had easy access to the lake and train station.

I noticed some paintwork in the stairway was a bit worn. It could use some attention.

the renovated double room included comfortable bedding. i found it clean, and it had ample space for luggage. the room also featured blackout curtains that worked well, ensuring restful sleep.

The hotel provided access to a nearby casino's pool. This was a nice perk. a bus stop located just outside the hotel made getting around very easy. I appreciated this convenience. private parking was available, i booked it ahead of time.

The room offered a comfortable double bed mattress. The location proved central, close to shops and transportation. Parking was available in a sheltered area, convenient.

The room had an old-style decor and the bathroom felt small. I noticed black dots on the bathroom ceiling , which might indicate mold. The lack of modern updates detracted a bit from the stay.

The room carpet showed signs of wear. I noticed chipped paint in the room. The shower water pressure was not ideal (very poor).
